Ladies Spring Retreat 2023 Recap

Finding Rest for Your Weary Soul was the theme and purpose of our time together.

 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)

God blessed us during our time away as we learned more about the importance of realigning our spirit, soul, and body
with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also learned the importance of blessing others and ourselves.
Elizabeth in Session
Elizabeth Gunter Powell, our Speaker for the Retreat, also leads The Father’s Business, continuing the legacy in ministry started by her mother Sylvia Gunter. Elizabeth is the co-author of Safe In The Father’s Heart: Finding The Love You Have Always Wanted, Ruach Journey, 
and Blessings For Life.

From the time she was born again in 1984, Helen Marie Morris has dedicated her life to genuinely living the Truth of God’s Word and sharing it through her artistic and musical talents. We enjoyed Helen leading us in worship before each session in her soft, gentle way.
