Bible Correspondence Study Mentors

Purpose

  • Many of the Inmates who request and receive a Bible from On Wings Like A Dove will later enroll in one of the Bible Correspondence Study Courses that we offer.  These are chapter by chapter Bible Book studies.
  • The Inmate will work through the study, alongside their Bible, a lesson at the time, and will complete the questions that are at the end of each lesson.
  • The Mentor will receive the completed questions in the mail, check the Inmate’s answers, and correspond with the Inmate.
  • These conversations through the mail are an excellent opportunity to engage the Inmate on a personal level and to share the love and grace of Jesus with them as the Inmate and the Mentor journey together.

We Need Mentors!

  • Do you love Jesus?
  • Do you love reading and studying your Bible?
  • Do you have a heart for sharing God’s Word with others?
  • Would you like to invest in someone who may have no one to turn to with their questions about what they are reading in their Bible?
  • Are you interested in helping someone who knows Jesus grow in their faith?
  • Would it bring you joy to share Jesus with someone who is reading about Him for the first time in their lives?
  • Then we would like to talk with you about being a Bible Correspondence Study Mentor!
